Hotelspeaker and Ghent University are joining forces to launch a collaboration over the next two years. The aim of this collaboration is to contribute to the generation and dissemination of research-based knowledge on online reviews and reputation management in the tourism sector. At the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication at Ghent University, a number of researchers have specialised in this topic, and the collaboration with Hotelspeaker enables them to further embed their focus on webcare research. For Hotelspeaker, this type of research is extremely relevant, as research-based knowledge can be used to increase the quality of written responses to reviews. All Hotelspeaker customers can thus benefit from the scientific approach Hotelspeaker uses when responding to reviews.
